Petrichor Collection

The word “petrichor” is the divine earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. It combines two Greek words: “petra”, meaning “stone”, and “ichor”, the golden fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology (Homer describes this in “The Iliad”).

In my abstract Petrichor Collection my intention is to share joy of receiving divine scent of the specific moment in time and space, and to help create an authentic bond and sense of empowerment among mothers and mothers at heart. The Petrichor Series represents a time for a sensual reflection on heartwarming and unforgettable moments coming from just watching joy, like children playing and expressing genuine happiness.

Sometimes during difficult times, like pandemic which still hovers above us, we feel restrained, overwhelmed, tired... and often forget about happiness available to us. When facing with such situation, we must build a vibrant life differently: connect with healing and empowering nature, surround ourselves with fond memories that make us smile, stay connected with others, and plan for the future.

There is always sunshine after a rainy day.... which gives us scent of joy!
