What sizes of original paintings and drawings do you offer?

NOTE - The size of the painting or drawing is also described by its scent content.

  • Small = up to 12” (Sublime Scent Content)

  • Medium = up to 24” (Mild Scent Content)

  • Large = up to 42” (Lofty Scent Content)

  • Ex-Large = more than 42” (Exuberant Scent Content)

What kind of prints do you offer?

We offer Limited Edition Prints. Each print is inspected, numbered and signed by the artist, Iwona Kmiec.

What is the process of ordering Limited Edition Prints?

All Limited Edition Prints are custom printed. If you are interested please send us an email to : iwona@visualscentart.com and let her know which print you like to order. Next, we will order prints you like. After receiving prints from the print shop each print is inspected, numbered and signed by the artist, Iwona Kmiec. In total it takes about 4-6 weeks to get the prints at your door. Pandemic rules and geographic location might change the time of the process. If you need prints faster, please let us know and we will do our best to fulfill your request.

What does “Limited Edition Print” mean?

A Limited Edition Print means a limited number of prints are created for a particular artwork. Each print in an edition is numbered and signed by the artist. Once all the prints in an edition is sold, it will no longer be available.

What is a Giclée print?

Giclée print (meaning “fine spray” in French) is a high-quality reproduction method that uses inkjet printing technology. Giclée prints are created using archival Canon Inks on fine art paper.

This is acid-free, smooth or lightly textured, bright white, 100% cotton paper, best for high contrast images. A large-format inkjet printer uses small spraying devices that apply ink and match the colour precisely.

Will the colours of my newly acquired painting or print look exactly the same as on my electronic devices?

Colour presentation on electronic devices (e.g. computer, tablet, phone) depends on many factors. Slight differences in colours might occur.

PAYMENT & RETURN POLICY

What forms of payment do you accept?

PayPal, Visa and MasterCard are accepted for purchases from the online gallery.

For commissions, I accept e-transfers and PayPal.

Can I return artwork I purchased from your online gallery and get a refund?

All online gallery sales are final once they are shipped. However, please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Can I return or cancel a commission?

The commissioned artwork is made to order specifically for you, and cannot be returned. If you cancel an unfinished commission during the process, a cancellation fee will apply. This will be detailed in our agreement.

What if my newly acquired work has arrived damaged?

If a newly acquired painting or print has arrived damaged, I will replace it with a piece of similar scent content (size) and price from the online collection. Contact me within 7 days of delivery and send a picture of the damaged piece (including the packaging), so that we can solve the issue.

ORDERING & SHIPPING

Which company do you use for shipping?

I use Canada Post to ship all paintings and prints. Currently I only offer shipping within Canada (if you live outside Canada, please contact me directly). A tracking number will be sent to your email when your order ships.

If you live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), we can arrange for personal delivery (Bold Scent Content paintings only).

How do you package prints and paintings for shipping?

Limited Edition Prints are shipped rolled in a 3” diameter tube. Prints 8” x 10” are shipped flat unless they are combined with other larger prints. Please note, there can be a maximum of four prints in one tube.

Paintings from the online gallery are securely packaged in a sturdy cardboard.

Commissioned art packaging and shipping will depend on size and format. This will be detailed in our agreement.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the package. For online gallery orders, shipping cost might appear in your final purchase price but it’s best to contact us to get a quote.

Does shipping include insurance?

Regular shipping for paintings and prints does not include insurance. It has to be payed separately.

COPYRIGHTS

Can I make a reproduction of my commission or of the artwork I bought from your online gallery?

No. You cannot reproduce artwork in any manner. All work is copyrighted by Visual Scent Art.

Can I share my newly acquired art on social media?

Yes, you can, as long as the work is credited to Visual Scent Art.

PRIVACY POLICY
